Czech manufacturer VALIANT has launched a new range of high-performance and affordable riflescopes under the LYNX brand. These optics are equipped with lenses featuring a special purple filter coating, ensuring excellent clarity. The LYNX series offers a variety of scopes that are gaining global recognition, thanks to collaborations with sports clubs. Among their unique innovations is the development of the HFT reticle, designed specifically for competitive shooting disciplines. These riflescopes stand out for their reliability, versatility, and great value for money. They come packaged in sturdy cardboard boxes, which are further enclosed in transparent plastic packaging.
The smallest model in the LYNX series offers a variable magnification of 3-9x with a 40mm lens, making it suitable for all types of firearms. Ideal for medium-range shooting, it features an adjustable parallax that works from 10 yards. The elevation and windage adjustments are made via open low-profile turrets, with each click corresponding to 1/4 MOA at 100 yards. The main reticle for this model is a 24x Mil-Dot design, and turret adjustments can be zeroed by loosening the stainless steel screw.
The left-hand turret houses an illumination control, which is useful for shooting in low-light conditions. It offers 11 levels of red illumination intensity, and due to its wide adjustment range, there is no intrusive red hue on the lens. Please note that the necessary battery (CR2032) is not included in the package. Additionally, the diopter can be adjusted between +2 and -2 diopters for personalized focus.
In practice, the variable zoom feature makes this riflescope versatile, compatible with a wide range of weapons. The one-piece tube construction enhances durability, while the precise and audible click adjustments for both windage and elevation provide confidence that your settings are accurate.
